My neighborhood on the Upper West Side of Manhattan has been invaded by builders of glass towers, Many of my cityscapes have been painted just before the site was destroyed. Here is a collection of places that have been a part of home for me and my family. Some are gone, and some are in danger of going because they let in too much sky
	La Tacita de Oro Oil on linen 16 X 14 Sold This Cubanas y Chinas restaurant was on the ground floor of the last wood frame building in the neighborhood. The top floors are still there because they were landmarked before the near end of the block was made into the Metro Diner.	105 Street Oil on linen 20 X 24 Sold Some side streets still have Beaux Arts townhouses.
